Keyboard first
⌃⌥ with the arrows moves focus, add ⇧ to move windows, and W S make columns wider or narrower. Every shortcut can be changed, and they work on any keyboard layout.
A scrolling tiling window manager for macOS.
Every window is a column on a strip that runs past the edges of your screen. New windows open beside you, nothing gets squeezed, and you scroll.
Version 0.4.0 · macOS 14 or later · Apple silicon and Intel · Free · Early preview
Every window is a column. The strip carries on past the edges of the screen.
Drag the strip sideways, or swipe it with two fingers, the way a three-finger swipe scrolls it on your Mac.
A new window joins the strip next to the one you're using, at the width you like. Nothing else moves out of the way or shrinks.
Columns carry on past the edges of the screen. Move along with a shortcut, a swipe or the scroll wheel, and the strip glides there.
Focus follows you down the strip, and the timeline shows where you are. No overlapping windows to dig through.
⌃⌥ with the arrows moves focus, add ⇧ to move windows, and W S make columns wider or narrower. Every shortcut can be changed, and they work on any keyboard layout.
A three-finger swipe follows your fingers and settles on a column. Hold ⌃⌥ and scroll with two fingers or a mouse wheel to do the same.
Drag a window between two others and they slide apart for it. Drop it on a column to stack them, or hold it at the screen's edge to reach columns off screen.
Hold ⌃⌥ to see the whole strip at the bottom of the screen. Tap ⌃⌥ to keep it open and rearrange windows right there.
Your columns, widths and stacks come back after a restart, on every desktop and for every set of displays. Plug your laptop back in and windows return to the monitor they were on.
Let an app float, start its windows full width, or open them at the end of the strip. Fixed-size windows and dialogs float by themselves.
Liquid Glass on macOS 26, frosted glass before it. Colonnade follows Reduce motion and Increase contrast, and works with Spaces and full-screen apps.
One permission, Accessibility. No system changes, no scripts to run, nothing sent anywhere.
Every action uses ⌃⌥, and you can change any of them in Settings.
